After receiving a warning about illegally kept slaves, Tina and her squad follow Eleanor to where the slaves are said to be trapped. But several unexpected discoveries make the matter far more personal, especially when the threat of the hierarchy rears its head and begins destroying everything.
Tina leads the Squad in a scramble for time to rescue the slaves before the hierarchy does anything worse to them. But friends and family are falling prey to desperate enemies, and the Authorities will not let the young abolitionists win a second time. Tina is barely prepared for the danger ahead.
